Section W-3N consists of 5 lodges in throughout Northern California and Nevada. Each lodge represents a Boy Scout Council and is led by the Lodge Chief, the youth leader, and the Lodge Adviser and Staff Adviser, who together make up the Key Three. The Staff Adviser and Lodge Adviser serve to advise the youth Lodge Chief and assist him in the running of the Lodge Program. The Key Three leadership for the section consists of the youth leader, the Section Chief, who is advised by the Section Adviser. The Section Chief, Section Vice-Chief, and Section Secretary are elected at the annual Conclave by the arrowmen of their section.
The Section is primarily responsible for running the annual Conclave; an event that serves as a gathering for arrowmen all around the section to come together for activities, training, and events to teach scout skills and leadership as well as create a fun environment for arrowmen to meet others from around the Section.
